“Maybe Aaron Rodgers can’t get it done,” Marcus Spears analyses Green Bay Packers’ roster ahead of the new season

Aaron Rodgers has held back his decision on his future at the Green Bay Packers. The 38-year old veteran quarterback failed to lead the Packers to a Super Bowl place last season, and rumours have surrounded the press that he reportedly wants to move on to another franchise.

However, as he is yet to make a decision personally, the franchise has maintained that they want to keep him for the upcoming season and plan with him as their No.1 quarterback. They are still unsure of what Aaron Rodgers will decide and have not signed any major replacements for him to improve the side.

Former NFL player turned pundit, Marcus Spears ripped into the current state of the franchise and said, “Maybe Aaron Rodgers can’t get it done. I know we focussed on everything else with the Green Bay Packers. The team that was good to go and win the NFC Championships so somebody was doing a good job.”

My issue is this, you had a year, we’ve listened to Aaron Rodgers all year talking about the relationship is getting better and I like Matt LeFleur… We should not be here SA,” said Marcus Spears addressing Stephen A Smith.

“They had an entire year to work with Matt LaFleur to look at this roster and understand the things that you need in order to go win a championship. Now people are talking about, well the season just ended- he’s trying to decompress. We had gone through all these in 2020.”

As things stand, the situation at the Green Bay Packers is very delicate but they need to find a solution to this dilemma very quickly in order to move forward with their preparations for the upcoming NFL season.
