“He Has Worked Insanely Hard”: Ian Rapoport hails JJ Watt for a miraculous recovery

Justin James Watt, the defensive end for the Arizona Cardinals is a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. He featured for the Texans for as many as 10 seasons from 2011 to 2020. This season, he is featuring for the Arizona Cardinals.
Unfortunately, just when Watt was gearing up for a great season for his new side, he sustained multiple injuries. He played his last game in Week 7 against his former team. Watt was not expected to get back on the field in the near future as his injuries were quite serious.

However, it appears like the man has made a miraculous recovery. Talking about Watt’s incredible recovery, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport made a few points on the Rich Eisen Show. “JJ Watt who tore his labrum, his rotator cuff, and his bicep is recovering miraculously.”
“He has been pushing his rehab insanely hard. He knows his body better than anyone so he has been pushing to the absolute brink and because of that, he has been able to rehab faster than anyone can imagine,” he said, adding that instead of several months, the star athlete is going to recover in a matter of weeks.
“The plan as of now for him is to be out on the field for the first week of the playoffs rather than the Superbowl for which he was originally planning to return,” Rapoport further claimed. Indeed, Watt has done an outstanding job and the team which has been looking after him also deserves all the accolades. It will interesting to see how he performs on his return.
