Matt Ryan
Matthew Thomas Ryan is a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. The star quarterback played college football for Boston College where he impressed one and all with his performances. Ryan was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons as the third overall in the 2008 NFL Draft.
At the time when a lot of players are being drafted and moved around, the Indianapolis Colts have acquired the former NFL MVP Ryan from the Atlanta Falcons.
“Not many guys can operate at Matt Ryan’s level”: Head coach Arthur Smith

As reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Colts were desperately looking for a new starting QB after trading Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders. They sent a third-round pick to the Falcons in exchange for the star footballer.
“Trade!! The Falcons are in agreement on a trade of QB Matt Ryan to the Colts, per Mike Garafolo Tom Pelissero
and me. ATL gets a 3rd back. Fallout from the Deshaun Watson situation, with Ryan starting over in Indy. Ryan gets a contract adjustment with more guaranteed money,” Schefter Tweeted.
As per reports, Ryan wanted to remain in Atlanta but things didn’t pan out exactly as he would have liked. “There’s not many guys like Matt that can operate the level he does,” head coach Arthur Smith said at the end of the last season. “The leadership, the real leadership that goes on behind the scenes. The way he prepares. He’s the same guy every day. That’s a huge compliment to him,” he had claimed.
It will be interesting to see how Ryan performs in the coming season for the new franchise.
