Tom Brady retired at the end of last season marking an end of a great legacy lasting for 23 years. During those years, Brady cemented himself as the greatest QB of all time while winning a record 7 Super Bowls.
After a lukewarm season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady bid farewell to the game and currently is focusing on other endeavors. Recent reports suggest that the 45-year-old is prepared to own a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Raiders have been a troubled organization recently due to various reasons. However, the most important is the controversial departure of QB Derek Carr. WR Davante Adams hasn’t taken that very well, on top of that, the signing of Jimmy Garoppolo has also inspired massive scrutiny.
Amidst these concerns, there are strong rumors that Brady will wear the No.1 QB jersey for the Raiders when week 1 arrives. However, those are just speculations and there are no concrete rumors about it.

Will Tom Brady unretire again to join the Raiders?

Tom Brady has flirted with retirement once before this. The QB retired a season ago and then decided to call off his retirement and joined the Bucs yet again. This also gave rise to his personal marriage problems with Gisele Bundchen, eventually leading to their divorce.
Recently, legendary QB Troy Aikman spoke about the possibility of Brady joining the Raiders and he isn’t counting it out. The Dallas Cowboys legend believes that it is highly possible that the Super Bowl winner could suit up yet again after buying minority shares of the Las Vegas based team.
“I would bet that just nothing is off the table,” Aikman said, “as far as what may occur during the season or what Tom’s role may be.” Although Tom Brady has slowed down a lot in recent years, his physical fitness is still off the charts and will slot into the QB1 position effectively.
Tom Brady buying the Raiders minority shares opens up many possibilities

It seems like the Raiders have been getting lots of flak for signing Jimmy Garoppolo who was injured for more than half the games last season. The fans aren’t sure if he will be able to guide the team forward.
If Tom Brady is to buy minority shares of the Raiders, then it will open new doors for him and possibly unretirement for the legendary QB. In his retirement announcement, Brady stated that this time it’s for good.
However, people still want TB12 to perform a last dance in Las Vegas and maybe get a Super Bowl in the city by playing in the NFL. On the other hand, these could all be rumors and maybe Tom Brady is just buying minority shares for administrative purposes and will look to manage the team from the outside.
