A much promising season for the Dallas Cowboys ended in a disappointing manner as they lost at home in the NFC Wildcard Game against the San Francisco 49ers where they were the heavy favorites coming into the game due to their excellent roster and great performances throughout the season which gave the fans the belief that this can turn into something big.

After their shocking loss to the 49ers, questions were raised about the position of the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys as Mike McCarthy was under huge pressure with reports claiming that he might be fired before the next season.

Jerry Jones who is the owner of the Dallas Cowboys decided to back his head coach and didn’t fire him as he trusts him to take the team to the promised land next season but his decision was not taken well by huge portions of the Cowboys fanbase as they wanted Mike McCarthy out of Dallas.

The Dallas Cowboys for sure have a solid roster who can win the Super Bowl if they play to their potential just like the glimpses that they showed during some games in the regular season.

Mike McCarthy has to get this team together and make sure they don’t make silly mistakes or choke the games which they should be winning because his job is on the line this time around and if he fails to exceed expectations during the next season, he will get fired.
