“Hope y’all see that now…CLOWNS”: Justin Jefferson claims that OBJ was never the problem with Browns
Odell Beckham Jr and Justin Jefferson
Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr, commonly known as OBJ, is a superstar in the world of American football. The man has thrashed several records in his illustrious career. Back in 2016, he became the fastest player in NFL history to reach both 200 career receptions and 4,000 career receiving yards.
However, the 2021 season wasn’t really turning out to be a fruitful one for him when he was with the Browns. In six games for the side, he caught 17 out of 34 targets for 232 yards and wasn’t able to score any touchdowns at all. Moreover, after Beckham’s father criticized Baker Mayfield in a social media post, it was evident that the OBJ-Brown partnership wasn’t going to work.
“U gotta put on a cape”: OBJ continues to put up impressive performances for the Rams
After the Browns agreed to part ways with OBJ, he signed a one-year deal with the Rams and it would be fair to say that things have started falling into place. The talented wide receiver scored his third touchdown in as many games this season for Rams when he played against the Cardinals.
Giving his opinion on the whole OBJ situation, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson took to Twitter to claim that Beckham wasn’t really the problem. “OBJ WAS NOT THE PROBLEM!! I hope y’all see that now…CLOWNS,” he stated.
Elated with his performance with the Rams, OBJ also took to Twitter and wrote, “U just can’t pop out n say u the hero, u gotta put on a cape.” The Rams have played really well in their last two encounters. They thrashed the Jaguars and then defeated the Cardinals in their latest game. They’ll next take on the Seahawks.
