The Philadelphia Eagles came into the encounter against the Cowboys without much fire. Needless to say, the side was more focused on resting their starters which is exactly what they did. However, even then, they didn’t start off that poorly.

In the first and third quarter, the Eagles gave a tough competition to the men from Dallas, however, in the second and fourth quarter, the Cowboys completely outplayed them without much hassle to clinch the game with a massive deficit.

The Cowboys have consolidated their position at the top of the NFC East with as many as 12 wins and just the 5 defeats this season. Whereas the Eagles stay unmoved at the second spot in the table with 9 victories and 8 defeats. One of the biggest positives for the Eagles, especially in the first half was Kenneth Gainwall.

Two brilliant runs by Kenneth Gainwell capped off a 10-play. A 75-yard touchdown from him helped his team tie the game at 17 points each in the first half. The video of his fantastic play was shared by Philadelphia Eagles on their official Twitter handle which gained a lot of views and reactions from the fans.

As far as the Cowboys are concerned, even after inconsistent performances from star quarterback Dak Prescott that earned him a world of criticism, they have managed to script wins after wins. Especially their defense has come to the party just at the right moment. It will be interesting to see how the men from Dallas perform in the play-offs.
