“Use it as a Motivation”- Kliff Kingsbury reveals the real reason for his side’s blowout loss against the Rams

Kliff Kingsbury and the Cardinals
Los Angels Rams brutally humiliated the Arizona Cardinals in their Wild Card encounter on Monday night. Arizona’s Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury’s first postseason game was a 34-11 crushing defeat at the hands of the Rams.
The Rams were dominant in the game for the get-go. They had a set mindest on winning and they flawlessly executed their plan. Cards’ HC Kingsbury said that the team’s lack of experience was the reason for their loss.
“We didn’t play our best game”: Kliff Kingsbury on blowout to the LA Rams

“I think experience is a big part of it,” Kingsbury said. “There’s only one way to experience playoff football and that’s to go through it. And unfortunately, we didn’t play our best game and I thought L.A. played a great game, had a great plan and outplayed us and outcoached us. But I think you just got to go through these moments and learn from it and grow from it and use it as motivation.”
Kliff Kingsbury can’t cite a lack of postseason experience for such a horrible display of football. The Bengals entered Super Wild Card Weekend with the least postseason experience (57 combined games) and still won. The Cards had 83 games of postseason experience on the roster — tied for the fourth-fewest. This has to be the lamest reason a coach has ever given.
Will Kliff Kingsbury be fired from the Cardinals?

Cardinals and QB Kyler Murray did not put much of a fight at any point of the game. Cards were unable to score a single point through the first two quarters. The Rams were leading 21-0 at halftime. “You come out against a really good team and don’t do anything right for the first two quarters, that’s what’s going to happen,” the coach said of the blowout. “We got to give them credit. They played a great game and we didn’t do much right coaching or playing the first half.”
Despite starting the season 7-0, Arizona Cardinals were not able to maintain the momentum throughout the end. Including Monday night’s embarrassment, the Cards have now lost 5 of their last 6 games. After a disappointing season, Monday night’s defeat might have him on the chopping block. Given how fast and how many head coaches have been fired around the league, Kliff Kingsbury might be in trouble.
“(We’ve) got to use this as motivation and come back stronger from it because that’s not indicative of who we want to be,” Kingsbury said. “And unfortunately, that showed up tonight.”
