However, this time around, he has got himself involved in a major controversy.

Recently, a few Text messages were obtained by Mississippi Today that point toward Favre briefing Gov. Bryant about the flow of state grant funds to his drug project.

Reportedly, the deal was kept away from the common public. In fact, Bryant was set to accept stock in Favre’s company just hours after he left the office. The report states that Phil actually used his authority and political influence to help his pal Favre in taking his pharma company to unprecedented heights.

The alleged text messages show that Bryant tried raking in a lot of money from the project when he left office. “It’s 3rd and long and we need you to make it happen!!” Favre had written to the governor in December 2018. “I will open a hole,” Bryant replied to the message.

Brett has got himself involved in a major scandal. This can seriously tarnish his image and cause a plethora of problems for a lot of top-level people. It will be interesting to see what happens next in the case.
