The Green Bay Packers had a good draft in 2023 as they added a lot of stars to their roster. Their first pick of the 2023 draft was Lukas Van Ness. The Iowa outside linebacker was selected 13th overall by the Packers.
Lukas Van Ness wasn’t a starter at Iowa but he did blow out of proportion as a part-time starter for the Hawkeyes. In his three seasons at Iowa, Van Ness had 71 tackles (34 solo) with 19.5 of them for a loss, 13.5 sacks, and a pass deflection.
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst evidently looks for players that have a lot of untapped potentials that can be molded as per their preferences. Gutekunst and his staff rely heavily on RAS scores while drafting a player. Lukas Van Ness posted a 9.39 on the test which made him an instant lock for them. Van Ness will fit perfectly in Green Bay’s scheme and be a great asset for them.
The 21-year-old is 6′-5″ and weighs 272 pounds and is built like a mountain. Lukas Van Ness was also nicknamed “Hercules” at Iowa because he does look like a Greek God. However, Lukas isn’t the only one who won the genetics lottery in his family.
Van Ness didn’t travel to Kansas City for the draft and was at home when he received the call from the Packers. The future star was surrounded by his family, girlfriend, and friends. That’s when two beautiful girls were spotted sitting beside Lukas along with his girlfriend.
Fans being fans thought Lukas was a player and was dating three women at the same time and had them all present together! Aside from his girlfriend Frankie Kmet, both of them were his sisters.

Lukas Van Ness has two sisters – an older one named Hanna and a younger one named Ella. Not much is known about Lukas’ sisters. Both are active on social media but aren’t that famous.
Hanna has 4,000 followers on Instagram and Ella has over 5,000 followers. Ella is said to be studying at the University of Iowa where her brother played at. Hanna keeps her admirers updated on her daily life and shares ravishing pictures from her vacations. Lukas Van Ness’ parents are Jason and Leanna Van Ness.
