The Las Vegas Raiders have finally hired a new head coach after they had fired Jon Gruden during this season due to his past text messages which involved racial discrimination had been leaked.
They are hiring the Offensive Coordinator of the New England Patriots Josh McDaniels under whom Mac Jones had a stellar rookie season in which he led the Patriots to the playoffs.
Mac Jones during the Pro Bowl week was asked about the appointment of Josh McDaniels as the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders and he was happy for his former offensive coordinator and said, “He deserves the job, and he’s going to do a great job.”

Mac Jones was full of praise for the new head coach of the Raiders while talking about Josh’s role in the development of his game during his rookie season and said, “Just from the first time we met, he’s just a great mentor to me and obviously taught me a lot about the game of football,” Jones said. “Not just the offense but the defense. And made me a better person too.”
He added, “He’s a great offensive mind, He does a great job of coaching everybody from the linemen to the skill players.”, Jones said, “I’m really happy for him as well,” Jones said, “He does a great job developing quarterbacks. That’s what he’s done his whole career.”
Josh McDaniels will also be taking offensive assistant coach Bo Hardegree alongside him as his quarterbacks’ coach in Las Vegas, to which Mac Jones responded, “I wish we could keep both of them.”
The Las Vegas Raiders have a good roster with Derek Carr as their quarterback who led them to the playoffs this season despite the franchise having all sorts of trouble from players getting involved in car-crash to head coach getting fired for his past actions and Josh McDaniels will be hopeful of leading them to higher achievements.
