“So rigged it’s not even funny anymore” – NFL Twitter accuses the teams of foul play as the Vikings script the BIGGEST COMEBACK win in NFL history against the Colts

“So rigged it’s not even funny anymore” – NFL Twitter accuses the teams of foul play as the Vikings script the BIGGEST COMEBACK win in NFL history against the Colts

Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings staged an out-of-the-world comeback against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night to win the NFC North division. The Vikings were down 0-33 during halftime but led by QB Kirk Cousins, managed to win the game in OT 39-36 and stage the largest comeback in NFL history.

The Vikings’ offense looked completely out of place in the first half, with Cousins not being able to move the ball forward. His throws weren’t landing in the right place and, to make matters worse, the defense didn’t live up to their expectations either. The Colts’ offense fired at the right time and, courtesy of multiple touchdowns, took a mammoth 33-0 lead.

Led by Cousins, the Vikings’ offense looked completely different in the second half. Especially for Cousins, as he is one of the most punished quarterbacks in the league and is always in the eyes of the media. Many have tried to write off Cousins for the last few years and, to put clarity on the matter, he has done nothing sublime to change that narrative. The QB completed the two-point conversion pass to T.J. Hockenson to make it 36-36 and force OT before the Vikings won the game 39-36.

The duo of Cousins and wide receiver Justin Jefferson did enough to lead the offense well against the Colts in the second half and script history. Jefferson is one of the best WRs in the league and in this game, helped Cousins give a much-needed push to Cousins’ career.

Twitter believes that the Vikings vs Colts was a rigged game

While fans went gaga over the Vikings’ comeback, some accused the players of foul play and said the league is rigged. It is very difficult to stage a comeback like that and huge comebacks are becoming very normal in the NFL over the last few weeks. Fans on social media expressed their suspicion and called the players out.

The Vikings, with an 11-3 record for the season, will now just look to better their record for the season and prepare for the playoffs. They are huge contenders to win the conference along with the Eagles, the 49ers, and the Cowboys. In the upcoming games, they will face the Giants, the Packers, and the Bears.
