San Francisco 49ers tight end Geroge Kittle reportedly received a $13,699 fine from the NFL. The fin was courtesy of wearing a crude T-shirt that mocked the Dallas Cowboys during their 42-10 win last week. However, Kittle revealed that he would wear it again if the opportunity arose.

In a recent interview inside the San Francisco 49ers locker room, the media asked him whether he knew about the fine. In typical Kittle fashion, he completely denied hearing anything about it.

“I have heard nothing,” he replied, acknowledging the lack of surprise if he received one. “Wore a personalized T-shirt! Maybe an inappropriate word. It is what it is. It’s a decision I made. If they want to fine me, they fine me.”

ESPN‘s Jeremy Fowler reported George Kittle will have to cough up $13,699 for using vulgar language. Such a stunt translates into unsportsmanlike conduct. Still, it won’t be able to stop someone who dreams of joining the WWE when he retires. And one of the criteria for becoming a wrestling star is banter, which is top-level stuff.

Why did George Kittle wear a F*** Dallas T-shirt despite knowing he would be fined?

The Cowboys-49ers rivalry is one of the most fraught in the NFL. Over the years, there have been several memorable moments, and George Kittle’s customized t-shirt will be remembered for a long time. But why did he choose to wear it in the first place?

He recently turned 30, and the Iowa State graduate concocted the idea of creating the t-shirt to celebrate. On Monday, he appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and revealed, “That shirt was just on my loop. I might’ve been mildly inspired by our guy, Gary Plummer.”

Gary Plummer was a 49ers linebacker in the 1990s. He wore a similar t-shirt during the 1994 NFC Championship Game vs. the Dallas Cowboys. “There’s some things that need to be worn for the franchise,” Kittle added. “I think it’s just a coincidence; it just happened to appear on my chest on ‘Sunday Night Football.’”

Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons took offense to the act. The Cowboys defensive stud claimed that Kittle took it personally, and he Kittle) could laugh now, but the time would come when he would have to cry.

Well, the two won’t be meeting each other again this season if both make it to the playoffs. The 49ers are currently unbeaten in the league, while the Cowboys have won three and lost two.
