The San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is having a good time ever since he was traded to his new team by the Carolina Panthers. Ahead of their important wildcard game, the RB sent an affectionate message to his girlfriend Olivia Culpo via social media.
In a post on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, McCaffrey, who is the frontrunner for the NFL Comeback Player of the Year honor appreciated his 30-year-old girlfriend Olivia Culpo for being there “Through it all.”
The 49ers RB shared an Instagram photo of the pair hugging with the caption, “Through it all, I love you.” Culpo, who has been dating McCaffrey since 2019, praised the 6th-year running back earlier that day with a heartwarming message on her own Instagram page.
“WHAT A YEAR! So proud of you, Christian McCaffrey. You deserve this and beyond,” wrote Culpo on her Instagram post, “next up, playoffs.” The “Culpo Sisters” actress has supported the running back throughout the season, including the 49ers’ New Year’s Day win against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Olivia Culpo gained worldwide recognition when she won the Miss Universe title back in 2012. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit and the 49ers running back have been dating for three years and are currently staying together.

Christian McCaffrey and the 49ers eye Super Bowl glory
The San Francisco-based franchise shocked everyone when they made the blockbuster trade with the Carolina Panthers to acquire the star running back Christian McCaffrey in October.
The Panthers received a 2023 second-rounder, a 2023 third-round pick, a 2023 fourth-round pick, and a 2024 fifth-round pick in exchange for the Stanford product. This trade was massive because CMC was the last piece of the puzzle that the loaded Niners were looking for to complete their roster.
Then they got lucky with their last-round draft pick “Mr. Irrelevant” Brock Purdy when the other two quarterbacks went down with injuries. It’s not often a team’s third-string rookie quarterback, who was the dead last pick in the NFL Draft steps up and takes over the league, and the Iowa State product has just done that this season.
And now, with talents all across the field, a quarterback who is showing positive signs, and a running back who will wreak havoc on any NFL defense, Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers are looking to be the ones to hoist the Lombardi Trophy when the season ends.
