Aaron Rodgers has arrived in New York with massive expectations. The veteran QB was traded to turn things around for the New York Jets and nothing less than a playoff place will be expected of him.
Rodgers was traded to replace the 2nd overall draft pick, Zach Wilson. Wilson failed massively in New York and was benched after playing half a season. However, the rookie QB made a glaring statement following rumors of the Jets signing a veteran QB.
Wilson stated that he would make ‘life a living hell’ for the new QB due to his competitive nature. Since then, the New York based team have signed Rodgers, who has been settling pretty comfortably.
Recently, A-Rod was asked about his views on the statement made by Wilson and he had an interesting reaction. The Super Bowl winning QB believes the young QB has been incredible and has failed to make his life a living hell.
“He’s been incredible,” Aaron Rodgers stated. “He hasn’t made my life hell every day.” Rodgers and Wilson were seen training together during the OTAs as the Jets clearly look improved.
However, only their performance next season will determine if the Jets have really improved after signing one of the best QBs or not. Interestingly, Zach Wilson could learn a lot from the veteran QB and can bounce back to his feared form.
Zach Wilson is ‘extremely psyched’ with the signing of Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is currently one of the most experienced players in the NFL and has been a class apart for the majority of his career. Zach Wilson could mentor under the guidance of the veteran and find new aspects to his game.
The young QB was also excited over the former Green Bay Packers QB signing and believes the QB can work wonders in New York. He also believes that Rodgers arrival in New York can be great for his development as a player.
“Of course I would like to be the guy, but I’m extremely psyched that out of any QB we could’ve brought in, it was him. I have to look at how I can be the best I can be. What Aaron brings could be really good for me & my development,” Zach Wilson stated in a press conference.
Aaron Rodgers arrival in New York has burned a different fire in the Jets fans who will be looking to make the playoffs after several years while still challenging for the division.
