“A Witch Hunt,” Aaron Rodgers vents out FRUSTRATION on the NFL media’s treatment of unvaccinated players during Covid-19 pandemic

Aaron Rodgers has had a roller coaster of a year from being called a plague rat to winning his 2nd consecutive MVP. From possibly leaving the Packers to signing a contract extension with them which made him the highest-paid player in the NFL per year. Rodgers isn’t one to keep quiet about something that he feels is not right. So when Rodgers sat down to talk with Joe Rogan on the Joe Rogan Experience he had a lot to say.

Rodgers not only talked about himself and his experiences with the immunized-vaccinated controversy, the media, and the league’s response to it but also about the media’s general response regarding the matter of vaccination as a whole. He went on to talk about how vaccinated players were made to speak out against the unvaccinated players and teammates which Rodgers’ dubbed “A Witch Hunt.”

“They were asking every single player ‘Are you vaccinated’? Aaron Rodgers

The Packers legend talked about the media’s role in this whole matter and said-“They were doing this asking every single player ‘Are you vaccinated? You know they were asking a bunch of big quarterbacks and some guys were saying ‘It’s personal or whatever didn’t wanna talk about their status and it almost guaranteed you weren’t vaccinated, right? So then they were getting ripped.

He continued-“And certain guys said ‘Yes, I am vaccinated.’ and you know then they tried to get him to say shit about their teammates who weren’t vaccinated like dog their teammates out.”

Then Rodgers went on to talk about how when he was asked about his vaccination status he had decided to reply with ‘I’ve been immunized‘ and how he had decided to elaborate further only if asked about what he meant by that but was only asked to basically rip on his teammates.

He said, “The only follow-up they asked was basically ripping on my teammates like ‘What do you say to your teammates who aren’t vaccinated like what kind of example do you feel like your setting to your teammates who aren’t vaccinated?’ I said it’s everybody’s own decision with their body. We’re super healthy individuals we take care of ourselves…..I don’t have any judgment on any decision that a guy makes switch their own body.”

Rodgers also acknowledged that he knew what would happen when his immunized unvaccinated status ever came out and if he ever contracted covid, what followed might have been more than what Rodgers might have predicted.
