On Sunday Night Football, the New York Jets led by Zach Wilson suffered a brutal loss against the Las Vegas Raiders in their week 10 matchup. Wilson had a poor outing in the game, but the Jets fans did receive some good news before the game as their star quarterback Aaron Rodgers shared a positive update on his recovery process.

During the game, NBC Sports’ sideline reporter Melissa Stark reported that the 39-year-old quarterback is looking to make a return to the field in mid-December, thanks to his aggressive rehab process.

When Aaron Rodgers went down with an Achilles injury back in September, everybody thought he was done for the entire season. In fact, some even thought that his career could be over. But, Rodgers repeatedly said that he is planning to return to the field in the ongoing season itself.

Even last week, Rodgers said that he would be back “in a few fortnights” during his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on ESPN. Now, Melissa Stark reported that Rodgers is planning to return ahead of the postseason.

On the sporting side of things, the Jets suffered a tough loss against the Raiders in their week 10 matchup. Wilson only completed 59% of his pass attempts for 263 yards and 0 touchdowns. His interception also proved to be costly, as it eventually led to their loss. With that 16-12 loss, the Jets fell to a 4-5 record but still have a good shot at making it to the postseason.

Aaron Rodgers reunited with Davante Adams after a long time

Just a day ahead of the Jets-Raiders’ week 10 clash, the veteran signal-caller Aaron Rodgers hung out with his former Green Bay Packers teammate Davante Adams after a long time.

The Raiders pass-catcher posted a picture of him hanging out with Rodgers on his Instagram story, which Rodgers later reshared on his profile. Adams and Rodgers spent 8 years together in Green Bay as teammates. The duo broke up back in the 2022 off-season when Adams decided to leave the Packers and join the Las Vegas-based football team.

Later, Rodgers also left Green Bay and signed a new deal with the New York-based football team. He unfortunately suffered an Achilles injury during the Jets’ 2023 season opener and is currently in rehab. He is expected to join the Jets in mid-December.
