Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers were some of the most dynamic QB-WR duos to have played in the NFL in the last decade. They found immense success playing in Green Bay where Adams established himself as one of the best wideouts in the league. However, due to uncertainty prevailing around Aaron Rodgers‘ future in the league, Adams decided to move on from the Packers.

Davante Adams left in search of greener pastures and joined his former QB from California State University, Derek Carr on the Las Vegas Raiders. After just one season together, Carr was traded by the team to the Saints which resulted in Adams being helpless and having to stay on even though Carr was the reason he joined the Raiders.

In a recent picture, Davante Adams was seen hanging out with his former QB Aaron Rodgers in Las Vegas. The wideout posted the image on social media and the duo were seen chilling. This, of course, gives rise to the speculation that, is Adams reconsidering a reunion with Rodgers.

Davante Adams could seriously be reconsidering a reunion with Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is out with an Achilles injury but that is not stopping the QB from continuing on his recruitment drive. Think about it, when AR12 went to the Jets, he first ensured that the team added Allen Lazard, one of his top targets in Green Bay. Given that the Raiders situation has gotten pretty bad this season, it would not be far-fetched to think that Davante Adams may want a change of scenario next season.

The New York Jets already have a great defense, their offensive core is also young and ripe, all the team needs is an experienced veteran quarterback and Aaron Rodgers fills that void, if he had not gone down in the first game of the season, this team could have genuinely done some damage in the league. Granted, their offensive line needs some work but apart from that, the Jets are a pretty complete team.

Davante Adams finds himself in the same situation that led him to leave Green Bay once again. The Raiders do not have a stable quarterback, there is no guarantee that Antonio Pierce will continue to be the team’s HC after the completion of this season. Maybe it is time for Aaron Rodgers and himself to reunite once more and this time, in a situation where they are setup for success.
