Aaron Rodgers‘ week Achilles injury meant that his season came to a premature end. He has been nursing that injury ever since. His injury has allowed him to appear on The Pat McAfee Show. The legendary quarterback has been appearing on the show on a daily basis. On his recent appearance on the show, however, Rodgers’ rehab partner J.K. Dobbins hilariously crashed his interview.
Dobbins suffered an Achilles injury himself earlier this season and has been working together with Rodgers. During Rodgers’ interview with Pat McAfee and co., Dobbins came in the room and poked fun at Rodgers for “not working.” Rodgers then turned his camera towards Dobbins who was on crutches.
“You are not working!” Dobbins cheekily told Rodgers. The QB then turned the camera towards the Baltimore Ravens’ RB. He further said, “Look, I’m out here working, I see him on the TV and talking on the phone… he better get to work!” Rodgers later said, “J.K. is an awesome kid, he really is. He is a fantastic kid.”
This is Dobbins’ second season-ending injury after the ACL injury he suffered in the 2021 preseason. The New York Jets QB was initially expected to miss the entire 2023 season, but there are rumors about him potentially coming back as early as the end of this season. The Jets signed Rodgers earlier this season, ending his 18-year tenure with the Green Bay Packers.
Aaron Rodgers has high praise for Texans’ rookie QB C.J. Stroud
Aaron Rodgers knows a talented QB when he sees one. He has seen talent in Houston Texans’ QB C.J. Stroud. The rookie QB has had a terrific start to the season, recording historic numbers through five weeks. Rodgers had high praise for Stroud while making an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

“It’s incredible, it really is,” Rodgers said on the show. “I don’t know him at all, but from a far, I do appreciate, he seems to be a really humble kid. He’s got his head screwed on the right way. He’s a tough kid.” Stroud has started the season throwing seven touchdowns and no interceptions through five weeks.
Stroud was drafted second overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Through five weeks, he has completed 61.3 per cent of his passes and has thrown for more than 1,400 yards already. He has seven touchdowns and zero interceptions so far with a rating of 98.4. He is one of the early favorites to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
