Aaron Rodgers is currently one of the most controversial QBs in the league due to his absurd and astounding statements. The veteran QB has spoken many statements that have gotten him in trouble at various times.
Rodgers got into a massive controversy in 2021 when he denied taking the COVID vaccine. For context, the vaccine was mandatory for everyone and was essential to stop the spread of the virus.
However, the former Green Bay Packers QB denied taking the virus due to its ingredients. He believes that there is an ingredient/component in the vaccine that can produce allergies in some people.
The NFL took strict action against the QB and penalized him $300,000. Rodgers then stated his side of the story on the Joe Rogan experience and stated about the dangers of the vaccine and how he approached a different method of immunization.
“PEG. Polyethylene Glycol. I did my research, I think typically speaking, because I’m healthy and I take care of myself, getting vaccinated was not on the top of my list. But, I wanted to look into it because everyone was doing it and talking about it and trying to be safe and I wanted to make sure I was doing my part if that’s what was necessary to keep myself safe,” Aaron Rodgers stated on the Joe Rogan Podcast.
“My loved ones safe. My teammates safe. At the time, I went on the CDC website and it specifically said ‘if you’re allergic to PEG, we do not recommend getting vaccinated with the MRNA vaccines”.

Aaron Rodgers believes in another method of immunization
The COVID controversy led to Aaron Rodgers being scrutinized by the mainstream media as well as the common people. However, the New York Jets QB was adamant with his statements and stuck to his theory.
Rodgers researched a different way to get immunized against COVID. It involved a procedure of exposing oneself to the virus until the body has healed completely.
“So I looked into other options which included an immunization process through holistic doctor. I researched and talked to probably a dozen different MDs. I found a protocol that I felt like was the best available,” Aaron Rodgers stated.
Currently, Aaron Rodgers has been devoid of controversy for quite some time now. Nonetheless, he is still trending on the Internet for being part of one of the most expensive trades of all time.
