Zach Wilson and the New York Jets suffered a brutal 16-12 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders in their Week 10 NFL matchup on Sunday. Following the loss, the Jets’ offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett, received a lot of criticism for his questionable play-calling in the game. However, Aaron Rodgers seems to have had issues with his play call during the game itself.
During the third quarter of the game, the Jets were leading by 6 points and were facing a crucial 3rd down and 1 from their own 38-yard line. The Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett dialed up a running play, which apparently didn’t amuse veteran QB Aaron Rodgers. The injured quarterback, who was present on the sidelines, seemed to nod his head as a sign of disapproval as soon as Hackett dialed up that play.

But the Jets went with the play. Zach Wilson, who received the snap from the shotgun position, handed the ball off to Breece Hall. The Jets’ star running back tried to run straight up the middle but was immediately met by the Raiders’ defensive front. The play didn’t go anywhere, and the Jets had to settle for punting.
Fans seemed to notice Rodgers’ nod of disapproval and shared the video of the incident on the social media platform X. The brief video went viral and accumulated more than 1.2 million views within hours. Check out the footage attached below.
In the end, the Raiders ended up defeating the New York-based football team. With that loss, the Jets fell to an ugly 4-5 record. Next, the Jets are scheduled to face their AFC East division rivals, the Buffalo Bills, in theirWeekk 11 matchup.
Aaron Rodgers aims to return to the field in mid-December
Back in September, the dreams and hopes of many New York Jets fans vanished after their star quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered an Achilles injury in their season-opener.

In his absence, the Jets are struggling every week to secure a victory. But, the fans received some positive news on Sunday as the veteran QB revealed his plans to return to the field in mid-December.
Rodgers has been going through an aggressive rehab which includes 5 hours of workout every day, which has made possible his quick return to the field.
If Aaron Rodgers’ rehab went according to plan, he could return to the field as soon as next month. The Jets fans would hope for that result since they are really struggling at the moment because of poor quarterbacking.
