Last month, the New York Jets suffered a major blow as their star quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered what was considered a season-ending injury in the Jets’ week 1 game against the Buffalo Bills. In the absence of Rodgers, the former second-overall pick Zach Wilson took over the starting QB job of the New York-based football team.

The Jets have suffered 3 straight losses with Zach Wilson as their starter, but the BYU product did show some flashes last week. Still, there are a lot of questions about the quarterback position in New York. Amidst this, the 39-year-old Aaron Rodgers has shared some dramatic pictures from his recovery process.

In a series of photos, Rodgers could be seen doing multiple exercises to improve his leg following his successful Achilles surgery last month.

This Instagram post comes just a few days after Rodgers revealed his plans to return to the field this season. Rodgers is going through an aggressive rehab which includes 5 hours of working per day to speed up his recovery process. There is only so much an athlete can do to speed up their recovery, but Rodgers remains confident that he can do the impossible and return to the field in the ongoing season itself.

Aaron Rodgers’ recovery is going as planned per reports and he is looking to join the Jets after their week 7 bye to mentor the young quarterback Zach Wilson. After that, barring any setbacks, Rodgers is expected to make a return to the in January, if the Jets make it to the playoffs.

While talking about the Jets-Chiefs week 4 matchup in a recent episode of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers referred to Travis Kelce as “Mr. Pfizer” because of the Chiefs’ tight end’s new advertisements endorsing the Pfizer vaccines.

A few days later, Kelce addressed Rodgers’ comments and said that he is 1000% comfortable with being referred to as “Mr. Pfizer.” Furthermore, he also took a subtle shot at Rodgers about how he plays for Woody Johnson, who is the owner of the Jets and also an heir to the Johnson and Johnson company. Rodgers hasn’t responded to Kelce’s comments yet.
