Aaron Rodgers vs. vaccinations might be the biggest football rivalry in the world. He has gotten into verbal wars with a lot of people because of his anti-vaccination stance. His latest jibe was directed at Kansas City Chiefs‘ superstar TE Travis Kelce as he called him ‘Mr. Pfizer.’ The comment was made during Rodgers’ weekly appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show.’
Kelce laughed off Rodgers’ comments in his recent interview. “Who knew I’d get into vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man?” Kelce said laughing. However, a former surgeon general, Jerome Adams, has slammed Rodgers for his comments on Kelce. He criticized the New York Jets signal-caller for his health choices.
“If you’re out for the season after making a number of well-publicized and questionable choices about your own health, seems prudent not to criticize another player who is faring quite well with his health choices (including being vaccinated), no?” Adams said on Twitter, reacting to Kelce’s comments on Rodgers. The Jets QB hasn’t reacted to Adams’ comments yet. However, he might do so on his next appearance at the Pat McAfee Show.
Rodgers tore his Achilles during the Jets’ week 1 game against the Buffalo Bills and was ruled out for the regular season. The Jets haven’t had the best of starts to their season as the team is 1-3 through four weeks. They will play their next game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers shares pictures of his rehab
Aaron Rodgers’ 2023 NFL season ended in horrible fashion as he suffered an Achilles injury in his first game with the New York Jets. Since then he has been nursing his injury and working on getting back to the field as soon as possible.

Rodgers shared pictures of his rehab on his Instagram account with the caption, “Three weeks into the rise to recovery. #healing.” Rodgers is expecting to make a return before the end of this season itself. “It’s pretty obvious I’m well ahead of the normal protocols when it comes to rehab for this kind of thing … but, obviously I’d like us to be alive and winning for that even to be in the conversation,” he said on the Pat McAfee Show.
The Jets have lost three of their four games so far and haven’t looked like a playoff team so far. For Rodgers to make a comeback this season, the Jets will have to make the playoffs. It is a long shot but if the Jets do manage to get there and if Rodgers manages to come back for that, it will be one of the most interesting postseasons in recent years.
