Carson Wentz is considered a veteran QB in the NFL and has lots of playing experience with multiple teams. The QB was signed by the Commanders last season after being traded from the Colts. However, his performance didn’t match up to Washington’s expectations, and the QB was released recently.

Wentz struggled massively with the Commanders’ offense and was only limited to seven touchdown passes in his first two outings. After that, the veteran QB broke his thumb and was ruled out for the next eight games. Since returning from his injury, he hasn’t been the same QB that he once was and was consistently struggling.

NFL analyst Adam Schein applauded the Commanders for releasing Wentz and made bold claims about the QB’s future in the NFL. Schein also stated that the QB was done since leaving the Eagles for the Colts and hasn’t been the same player since.

“This is going to end Carson Wentz,” Adam Schein stated on ‘NFL on CBS’. “He will never be a starting quarterback ever again in the National Football League. … He was done last year, someone just didn’t tell the Washington Commanders.”

Schein also pointed out that Wentz was often replaced in the Commanders organization by various QBs, most notably QB Taylor Heinicke, who basically owned his spot by the latter half of the season.

Carson Wentz still has multiple options remaining in the NFL

Carson Wentz’s wife is Madison Oberg, and he holds lots of pedigree as a QB and has often proved all his critics wrong by mounting a huge comeback. Currently, Carson Wentz isn’t employed by any teams. However, there are speculations going around indicating that multiple teams are interested in acquiring him.

The Carolina Panthers are looked at as a potential place for Wentz as Frank Reich, his former HC at the Colts and former offensive coordinator with the Eagles is currently the HC for the Panthers.

The Panthers are also looking avidly for an experienced QB who can help their effective team fight for the playoffs next season. Wentz has experience playing in the playoffs and can seriously help the team with good guidance.

However, if that doesn’t work out, then Carson Wentz can also replace the legendary Tom Brady at the Bucs, although that looks like a long shot. The probability of Wentz moving to the Bucs is low, but not zero.
