There is trouble brewing in Philadelphia. After the Eagles’ horrific 6-game stretch, wherein the team went 1-5 and lost the top spot in the NFC East to the Dallas Cowboys, they now appear to be on the verge of losing their best wide receiver.

A.J. Brown, in an unexpected move, has removed all content relating to the Philadelphia Eagles from his Instagram page.

The timing of this could not be worse, as it comes just days ahead of the Eagles’ scheduled Wild Card round game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A.J. Brown seems to have unfollowed Jalen Hurts for a brief moment, but at this time, he has followed him back.

The wide receiver has been vocal about his frustration with how the team’s season ended. Last week, he led a players-only meet wherein he urged all his teammates that they needed to “start believing in our coaches” for them to succeed and get back on track to success.

Will A.J. Brown demand a trade if the Eagles fail to win the Super Bowl this season?

It does raise a lot of eyebrows; why would he decide to do such a thing when the Eagles are attempting to embark upon the most crucial stretch, which are the playoffs?

Such a move is bound to raise doubts in the minds of his teammates and the Eagles front office.

Is the wide receiver seriously considering moving to another team in case the team’s season comes to an end on Monday night?

His contract runs through 2026 and does not include a no-trade clause, which means he can be traded provided a new team is willing to fulfill the financial obligations of his contract.

A.J. Brown ended the regular season with 106 receptions, 1,456 yards, and 7 touchdowns.

At the epicentre of a fractured locker room that cannot handle adversity and has little faith in its coaches.

He has also been reported to be feuding with his teammates, and one veteran was critical of him and stated he has “bad body language.”

This is the time when the Eagles cannot afford to let internal disagreements negatively impact the team’s chemistry and mess up their shot to make another Super Bowl. The team’s downfall has been shocking nonetheless.
