“Rat Poison is worse than before,” Alabama HC Nick Saban makes a STUNNING claim on their ‘favourites tag’ ahead of their season opener

“Rat Poison is worse than before,” Alabama HC Nick Saban makes a STUNNING claim on their ‘favourites tag’ ahead of their season opener

Even though it was only Week 1, Nick Saban already appeared to be in midseason form during his weekly visit on the Hey Coach! radio show on Thursday night.

Each week, prior to his team’s season-opening game against Utah State, Nick Saban gets to deliver “the final word.” He opted to discuss rat poison, a subject that has previously and repeatedly been covered on the program.

To avoid broaching a sensitive issue, Saban stated, “I think the rat poison this year is worse than before.” “The question, “How are we going to do versus Texas this week?” has been posed to me more frequently, I mean. How will we do against Utah State after that? We don’t play Texas this week, I mean, I’m like. What are you thinking about, I ask you.”

Saban occasionally calls things that are overly enthusiastic about his squad or that are too forward-looking, especially when they come from the media, “rat poison.” For instance, Alabama was picked as the SEC preseason favourite. That kind of stuff may be regarded as rat poison.

As rat poison may occasionally seep over to supporters and their expectations for the squad, Nick Saban brought up the subject once again in his angry parting remarks. Fans will be able to cheer for the squad at home in the first game for the first time since 2011.

Nick Saban said, “More rat poison than I’ve ever seen is present, as I just indicated, Saban added. And that’s not how our supporters can be. You must back the team if you want to call yourself a fan. You must be enthusiastic and energized, and you must back the players. They put up a lot of effort. You attend the contest. You don’t always feel let down because you have such high hopes that we’ll thrash them 50-0.”

The veteran 70-year-old head coach said, “Hey, they are young athletes who are making a lot of effort to improve. They require assistance. They require your excitement and vigor. That supports them in maintaining the type of drive that will enable them to improve for the future regardless of our current situation.”

The head coach of Alabama doesn’t want anyone looking forward on the schedule, including spectators, players, or the media. This Saturday’s game against Utah State is what matters most to Saban right now.

We must play each game one at a time, he replied. “What makes Alabama lose to this squad, then? How is this squad going to defeat Alabama. In three months time. Who cares anyway? How about this game, I mean? What about the church of the present? just now. Can we keep our attention on the present? Why doesn’t anyone care about that?”
