The 2022-23 NFL season has been pretty exciting with different storylines and in the end, the best two teams from the NFC and the AFC will head to the Super Bowl. NFC Champions Philadelphia Eagles will face AFC Champions Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LVII in Arizona in a few days and one of the most talked-about storylines from the Super Bowl is the clash of the Kelce brothers.

Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce will become the first brothers to play in a Super Bowl. Travis is one of the best tight ends in the league and plays for the Kansas City Chiefs while Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, is a center. There has been a lot of talk about the Kelce brothers playing the Super Bowl against each other to an extent that the Super Bowl is also being termed the ‘Kelce Bowl’.

While the entire NFL world is pretty excited about the ‘Kelce Bowl’, the two brothers- Jason and Travis are not big fans of this storyline. Speaking in their weekly podcast, they addressed the ‘Kelce Bowl’ storyline and dismissed this notion without much thought. Travis was the first one to speak about this and looked very frustrated while talking about this. “If the world hasn’t fed you this sh*t already,” Travis said as he started talking about the ‘Kelce Bowl’.

Jason rallied with his brother’s words and said that in only two days, he is already tired of the ‘Kelce Bowl’ storyline. He said that he doesn’t like the ‘Kelce’ term associated with the Super Bowl and while he appreciated the support the brothers are getting, everyone’s role has to be acknowledged. He added that there are many great storylines heading into the Super Bowl but overusing the ‘Kelce Bowl’ notion isn’t going to help anyone.

“If you’re not tired of it yet, which we are,” Jason said on the New Heights podcast. “We’re gonna talk about the Kelce Bowl now. It’s been two days and I’m already over it. I kinda don’t like that we’re calling it the Kelce Bowl. Appreciate the support, but there are a lot of guys involved with this. There are major organizations involved. Unbelievable storylines in this Super Bowl. . . We’re going to get asked about this question non-stop from here ‘til the end of the game, and I’m already over it.”

On February 12, the Philadelphia Eagles will meet the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. The Eagles will be playing their 4th Super Bowl while the Chiefs are heading into their 3rd Super Bowl in the last 4 years.
