Ben Roethlisberger is a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. The superstar quarterback played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 18 long years and guided them to innumerable wins. Not just as a player, Ben led and motivated his unit with perfection.

Last season, although the Steelers weren’t at their best, luck was in their favor as they somehow managed to make the playoffs. After their season ended in the Wild Card playoff game, Big Ben announced his retirement from the game.

Without a doubt, Ben’s contribution to the game is immense. However, Andrew Fillipponi reckons that his numbers can’t be compared with that of Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers. “I LOVE BIG BEN. But the idea that he’s had a better career than Aaron Rodgers is laughable,” he Tweeted.

“And I mean no disrespect towards Ben when I say that,” Andrew further added. Rodgers has been simply sensational in the past few years. In fact, he is the reigning MVP. Although he hasn’t been able to guide his team to a Super Bowl title win since 2010, there is no denying the fact that Aaron has been leaps and bounds ahead of his counterparts in a lot of areas.

As expected, Andrew’s statement attracted a lot of reactions from NFL fans. While many agreed that without a question, Aaron is better than Big Ben, many also pointed out that it depends on how one judges someone’s career. While Ben decided to call it quits last season, Aaron is still very active and is expected to take the NFL world by storm in the coming seasons as well.

It will be interesting to see how Rodgers performs in the coming season as a lot will be riding on his shoulders as he has got a hefty deal with Packers and there is no Davante Adams to lend him support.
