“He has consistently TORMENTED me & my child”: Chicago Bears DE Angelo Blackson accused of torturing his child & wife
Angelo Blackson
Chicago Bears defensive lineman Angelo Blackson has been accused of domestic violence by the mother of his child, Brittany Jones. She recently posted a story on her Instagram account and revealed that she and her child have been suffering at Blackson’s hands.
She ended up tagging the Chicago Bears organization in her post and requested them to do something about it. Here’s what she posted on her story, “I am currently mentally, physically, and emotionally SUFFERING from the trauma inflicted on myself and my dear son by his FATHER ANGELO BLACKSON of the Chicago Bears. My son has suffered a great deal of trauma by the Cinderella treatment he receives from his Father. Our friends and family are tired,” Jones makes a rather shocking revelation.
Angelo Blackson has not responded to the allegations leveled by his child’s mother:

Brittany Jones wants the DE’s team, the Bears to intervene, and even the NFL. She tagged the league as well. “Our community of church members, therapists, and educators are tired! Now we are seeking 100% full custody of Khyree Jones (Blackson’s son) to prevent any further complications from his Father,” she continued.
“I would appreciate it if it is not an emergency or work-related, to refrain from contacting me for any personal reasons at this time, my family has watched me over the past 5 years suffer from the pains and burdens of parenting ALONE. Angelo has consistently tormented myself and our child. Now is time for me to step up and speak up against THE CHILD NEGLECT, ABANDONMENT, and DOMESTIC ISSUES that has been caused by Mr.Blackson” she concludes.
Blackson, who played college football at Auburn, was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL draft. After two seasons with Tennessee, he played three years with the Texans from 2017-19, starting 20 games in that time frame. In 2020, he went to the Arizona Cardinals and started a total of 9 games, and in his 2021 season with the bears, he recorded 8 starts.
Blackson has not made any comment and his Instagram account was private. These accusations could hinder the Bears’ season if the DE is found guilty. He is necessary to the team more than ever as they are in need of depth. Blackson will join Justin Jones as the two leading the group in starter snaps next season. He has ranked as the 26th out of 127 qualified run stoppers in the NFL and was 116th in 2020 with the Cardinals.
Jones spent the weekend posting affirmations to her Instagram stories and shared the positive responses from her friends who put her story up on their feeds.
