Is Antonio Brown one of the greatest athletes of all time? The 35-year-old doesn’t have a speck of doubt in his mind. The former football player thought he was up there with the best. Brown also went so far as to state that he and Michael Jordan are the only two players to bow out in their prime.
This comes after Brown went on a rant following an Undisputed video that discussed Tyreek Hill’s top five wide receivers. The Dolphins playmaker chose Brown as his No. 1 receiver, and it didn’t sit right with the show’s contributor, Michael Irvin.
He understood why Hill chose the former Pittsburgh Steelers player because he was lighting up the NFL in the mid-2010s. Brown recorded six back-to-back seasons of 100+ receptions in the league. What Irvin didn’t agree with was what happened to Brown in his final few seasons and what he has become after hanging up his boots.
It’s no rocket science to decipher what the Hall of Famer pointed at. Brown’s controversial marriage issues, failure to provide child support, and spat with former teammates have put a black mark on his personality.
He retweeted Irvin’s video on his X profile:
Cra*kers gassing you up like you weren’t in the hotel lobby with whitty you an original house nig*a wearing glasses now you a clone fully house nig*a u graduated tryna look intelligent foh u talking crazy they just let u back dummy.
The ex-Dallas Cowboys player has won three Super Bowls with the Star helmet. But Antonio Brown believed he had a better career. He wrote:
Only me and Michael Jordan left the game on top; rest you nig*as, PAWNS Going Out Sad.
It doesn’t look like Brown will keep talking the way he wants to talk. Since leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he has remained active on social media. The fans will continue to witness shocking or mind-boggling tweets from the wide receiver.
Fans think Antonio Brown has CTE after absurd comparison with Michael Jordan
Brown hasn’t been the same since taking a massive hit to the head in 2015. It was the AFC wild-card game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. During a crucial point of the match, Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict rammed into him. Burfict was later fined for dangerous play, and Brown did not think much of it because challenges like that happen all the time on the football field.

However, many suspect it left a long-lasting impression in his head. CTE, or chronic traumatic encephalopathy, happens after a constant hit to the head. Football fans who follow Brown on X are positive that most of the whacky tweets he sends out are a result of his medical condition. Check out some of the fan reactions to Brown making comparisons with Michael Jordan:
As for Antonio Brown, he had a stellar life playing for the Steelers. Then he went to the Patriots for just a season and followed Tom Brady to Tampa. Even though he won a Super Bowl, he hadn’t recorded 50 catches in a season for three straight years. Afterward, he just disappeared, and in March 2023, he announced his retirement from football to become a rapper.
