The ‘Out Matt Canada,’ campaign has a new face; this time it is Antonio Brown who used to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers as a wide receiver (WR). From his Twitter handle, the former WR posted a picture that had a clear message for the offensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a satirical post that indicated the departure of Matt Canada from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Antonio Brown posted a picture of a packet of tomato ketchup where ‘Fire Matt Canada,’ was written on the body. Of course, it was a sarcastic and metaphorical post, however, the intention was clear. Brown made sure that he belonged to the group of people who did not have faith in Matt Canada.
The Steelers are ranked first in the AFC North sub-division. In six games, the team won four and lost two. But the fans are not happy with Matt Canada, and neither are the analysts. Multiple times both they have criticized Canada as the Steelers’ offense failed to establish dominance over the opponents. Offensively they could have been better though they won four games. All of them were close encounters. Moreover, they were shattered in two games that they lost. The offense failed to make stellar attacking moves, instead, they somehow relied on their defense to win their four encounters.

‘Fire Mata Canada’ chants heard across the stadium
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ fans have had enough. They are not ready to suffer anything else. A large part of them have already made this chant of ‘Fire Canada,’ after the team’s offense failed miserably to capitalize on chances despite having talented players on the roster. The fans blamed Canada and wanted him to be relieved of his professional duties.

However, the team management is not willing to let Canada go in this season. He has been with the team for more than five seasons and has worked as a defensive coordinator, quarterback coach, and now an offensive coordinator.
The game against the Baltimore Ravens witnessed the agony of the Steelers’ fans. The team successfully beat the Ravens by a margin of 17-10. It was a low-scoring encounter where the team failed to create serious threats for the Ravens. Hence, the fans got frustrated and shouted ‘Fire Canada,’ slogans. This was not the first time when it took place. Prior to the game against the Ravens, they had the same slogan in the match against the Houston Texans as well.
