The former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is one of the best pass catchers to ever step on the NFL field. However, his off-field issues cut his career short, and he is currently a free agent. Amidst this, the former All-Pro receiver cussed out his former Steelers teammate Ryan Clark with an NSFW rant on social media.
“Ryan Clark been a b**ch in media say things then apologize next AB name drop we gone strike yo a** boy,” Brown wrote in a now-deleted tweet. “Champ had me spare u last time we spin yo a** for confusion boy rap life.”
Brown tweeted this along with a series of tweets calling out the media over their alleged false narratives on his name. But it is unsure what Clark said about Brown in recent times that could be considered a controversial statement. ESPN personality Ryan Clark recently caught fire and had to apologize for his comments regarding the Miami Dolphins signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa‘s body.
Nonetheless, it seemed like AB and Clark worked out whatever the differences they had. Brown shared another social media post showing love to the former Steelers defensive back and the former Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger.
“With @_BigBen7 it’s all Love With, @Realrclark25 it’s all Love, You KNOW I love my sensei Coach Tomlin. Anything that any of us have said or done in the past is the PAST #PittothePALACE Water is under the bridge I won’t be the one saying anything against anybody that is ever wore The Black and Gold. It’s a Fraternity of Gladiators,” wrote Brown on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter.
Ryan Clark shows love to Antonio Brown despite former WR’s negative tweet
The former Steelers defensive back Ryan Clark was bashed on social media by his former teammate Antonio Brown for unknown reasons. However, the ESPN personality decided to show love to Brown despite the controversial wideout’s negative tweet.
Clark called Brown “one of the greatest” to play as a wide receiver in the league and claimed that he should be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame because of his achievements.
However, Clark also acknowledged that Brown may not be inducted into the HOF on the first ballot because of the 7-time Pro Bowl receiver’s off-field issues throughout his career.
Brown indeed was one of the best receivers to play the game. During his remarkable career, AB has registered 7 Pro Bowl campaigns and received 4 first-team All-Pro recognitions. Besides, he also won a Super Bowl during his stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He shockingly quit football in the middle of a Bucs game against the New York Jets, back in 2022 and he hasn’t played a snap in the NFL ever since.
