Baker Mayfield

Baker Mayfield has been in the news for a lot of reasons in recent times. The man has been through a really tough phase and it appears that his time for redemption is finally here. Baker felt disrespected by the Browns after they went madly behind Deshaun and completely disregarded him.

There might have been a chance of the Browns giving him another go after Deshaun’s legal troubles started posing big problems for the Cleveland-based franchise. However, Baker had no interest in playing for them and eventually, he was traded to the Panthers.

While many are claiming that this move is going to bring a much needed change in Baker’s career, a lot of experts have opined that the Browns have sent him to the worst possible franchise. While it is true that the Panthers were in complete shambles last season and Baker would have to be really good to guide them out of trouble, it is also true that this is his best chance to prove everyone what he is really made of.

As it turns out, the sponsorship offers have already started coming on for the star quarterback. Joe Person uploaded a video on his Twitter account where Baker can be seen talking about a deal with Bojangles. He admitted that he hasn’t eaten at Bojangles as of yet.

I haven’t had that yet, but I’m told I need to do that as soon as possible. I’ll probably wait a little bit. It’s not exactly on a training camp diet, but I’m looking forward to it.” As expected, Bojangles instantly used this marketing opportunity and uploaded a photo of Baker serving biscuits.

Ready whenever you are,” caption of the post read.

Things are starting to look good for Baker, however, everything depends on how he performs in the coming season. If things go sour, his career in the NFL might be in jeopardy.
