Bears’ dual-threat QB Justin Fields IGNITES the trade rumors with a cryptic message on social media

It seemed the Chicago Bears finally had their quarterback when they traded up and drafted the Ohio State QB Justin Fields during the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. And after two seasons with the Bears, Fields has proven that he is capable of being a long-time signal-caller in the league. However, it looks like the Chicago-based football team is ready to move on from their former No.11 overall pick.
The Houston Texans are a badly run franchise. They had the No.1 overall draft pick in the 2023 Draft until they decided to secure a meaningless win against the Indianapolis Colts during their week 18 matchup. The Houston-based franchise went for a two-point attempt and won the game against the Colts thus ending up ceding the first overall pick to the Chicago Bears.
Getting the first pick put the Bears in a tough situation. Since they already have a good ascending QB, they could look for an upgrade in defense or trade down and secure more draft picks which will help them in their rebuilding process. However, it seems like the Alabama QB Bryce Young is too tempting for the Bears to pass on to another team.
According to multiple reports, the Bears are looking to trade away Justin Fields and secure some draft picks as compensation for him, since they can get their franchise QB with their first overall pick.

Amidst the crazy trade rumors, the Bears’ dual-threat quarterback Justin Fields shared a cryptic comment on social media that seemingly hints at his unclear future in Chicago.
A social media video creator posted Fields’ workout images with the caption, “Control what you can Control… God will handle the rest?? #TheOffseason.” And Fields himself commented on the post with emojis which looked like he agreed with the message. “???,” commented Fields.
Justin Fields can’t really control where he will end up before the trade and he will have to wait till the management makes a decision. But for now, the Bears are looking at all kinds of possibilities with the first overall pick, including moving on from Fields per multiple reports.
Fields just finished one of the best seasons by a Bears QB in a long time. The Bears’ fan base finally had a QB that they enjoy watching but now the team is allegedly trying to move on which could backfire massively for them.
