Ben Roethlisberger
Ben Roethlisberger is a Pittsburgh Steelers legend and the Hall of Famer hung up his cleats for good after playing in the league for 18 long seasons.
Roethlisberger is a two-time Super Bowl winner and a Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Steelers used to make the playoffs every season with him as the QB in the center. Such was his stature and reliability with the ball.
Roethlisberger was loved and cherished by the Steelers fans, but everyone outside of Pittsburgh used to hate the QB for different reasons. Many people have also argued that Roethlisberger was a completely different man off the field, as the Steelers QB had some dirty and messy laundry of his own.
Roethlisberger was accused of multiple rape allegations during his career but wasn’t criminally charged by either one of them. The Steelers QB was accused of rape by two women. The first one occurred in 2008 when Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault by Andrea McNulty.
McNulty was an employee of Lake Tahoe Hotel and Casino. Her allegation stated that Ben Roethlisberger lured her into his hotel room under the guise of a broken television. Roethlisberger then allegedly blocked the door when she tried to exit and later grabbed her and tried to kiss her.
The lawsuit filed by McNulty was quickly disregarded as the Steelers QB was left free without any consequences and even the NFL didn’t take any action on this situation. However, McNulty received major backlash for accusing Roethlisberger of such a heinous crime. The accuser then later suffered from depression and anxiety.
Ben Roethlisberger was accused of rape again in 2010

Ben Roethlisberger didn’t receive any strict action from the NFL in the McNulty case, but this time he was suspended for 6 games before being allowed to play after 4 games due to good behavior.
In 2010, The Steelers QB was again accused of rape, but this time by a 20-year-old college student who claimed that Roethlisberger raped her in the bathroom stall of a nightclub.
The accuser stated that Ben Roethlisberger bought her and her friends drinks the whole night. Later the Steelers QB’s bodyguard grabbed her and escorted her to a hallway where allegedly Roethlisberger was standing with “his penis out of his pants”. The 20-year-old tried to leave, but to no avail.
“I told him it wasn’t OK, no, we don’t need to do this and I proceeded to get up and try to leave,” she said, according to ESPN. “I went to the first door I saw, which happened to be a bathroom.”
The accuser incurred significant injuries, as her medical examination suggested. The woman found “superficial laceration and bruising and slight bleeding in the genital area” although no semen was detected.
The case was later dropped due to insufficient evidence. Roethlisberger was asked for a picture by the policeman who was sent there to investigate him. He later described the accuser as a drunken b****.
The Steelers QB was set out free as no criminal charges were filed against him. Ben Roethlisberger is happily married now with three children.
