The Cincinnati Bengals posted a video on Instagram of quarterback Joe Burrow wearing protective braces on his throwing hand yesterday. The 26-year-old’s health status was already in question, and now this deleted video has people raising even more questions before their blockbuster Thursday night clash against the Baltimore Ravens.

There’s no clarity as to why the Bengals decided to scrap the clip from their social media platform as of yet. But then again, protecting their star player is a massive priority. If there is any information that Burrow is not 100%, then it may be beneficial for the Ravens.

The video showed the Bengals team arriving in Baltimore. Burrow, wearing a white jacket and shades, could be seen holding a tablet in his right hand. However, upon close observation, the LSU graduate seems to have some sort of protective sleeve wrapped around that very hand.

It appears to be a brace that snooker players wear, but it serves a different purpose. Burrow appeared to be concealing some sort of injury. ABC’s Caleb Noe shared the clip on X.

Why did the Bengals delete Joe Burrow’s video?

During the game against the Buffalo Bills, Joe Burrow was seen playing with a bloody finger. He did win the game, throwing more than 300 yards and two touchdowns. But the injured finger was cause for concern, which he later brushed off during the post-match interview. He claimed it wasn’t much of a bother.

It didn’t seem to affect him too much in their next game against the Houston Texans. Even though they lost the game 30-2. He again threw for more than 300 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks. One thing to point out is that he did not have the strapping on his finger during the game.

After a slow start to the season, the Bengals looked to be on the up with back-to-back wins before the loss against Houston. It left them with five wins from nine, and they are now dead last in the AFC North. Their next opponents, the Ravens, are the table-toppers, but they too suffered a 33-31 defeat at the hands of their divisional rivals, the Browns, last week.

In all honesty, this is a crucial game for both teams as they push for a playoff spot. The Ravens have seven wins in their 10 games, followed by the Steelers and Browns with six.
