Along with hard times regarding performance, the Cincinnati Bengals are also battling multiple injury issues. The team that lost three consecutive games is now going to miss its cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt after the CB suffered an ankle strain in the team’s practice. He was also suffering from an old injury. Due to this, he has been put on the injured list by the Bengals team and is set to miss the Jacksonville Jaguars game.

However, there is no certainty that the CB will come back in the next game. Head coach Zac Taylor was asked about the players’ condition and he admitted that he had no idea of when the player would make comeback.

I don't know that. I do know that he'll be out this week.

Multiple possibilities are there that the CB can miss a few games as he has been suffering multiple injuries. He was in the process of recovering from his quadriceps issues that he had against the Buffalo Bills. Now, after the ankle strain, it will be difficult for him to make an early comeback.

In his absence, veteran cornerback Chidobe Awuzie might have a start in the game against the Jaguars. But there is a concerning point. Awuzie suffered an ACL injury in 2022 and has not recovered fully. In this case, the head coach will be frustrated with so many players getting injured.

The Bengals will not receive the service of their expensive QB Joe Burrow who tore his ligament against the Ravens. Taylor will have a limping team against the Jaguars.

The Bengals team have respect for the Jaguars’ performance this season

The Cincinnati Bengals have a lot of respect for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo said a few days back that the Jaguars offense has a high speed and the play of their QB Trevor Lawrence gives them a dominant character. He hinted that his defense needs to find an answer to this dominant play.

There's a reason why they've won all these games. A big part of it is what they can do on offense.

The Bengals are presently down by 5-6. To keep their postseason dreams afloat, they have to win the game against the Jaguars which is not going to be very easy. The Jaguars are presently standing tall in the AFC South Division with eight wins and three losses.
