Jake Browning just revealed what a great teammate Joe Burrow is. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback organized for his backup’s family to experience moments that they will cherish for a lifetime.

Browning has been part of the NFL since 2019. The Washington Huskies were undrafted and later picked up by the Minnesota Vikings. The 27-year-old switched to Cincinnati in 2021, joining the Bengals practice squad. He finally got a chance to be the starter after Burrow suffered a season-ending injury to his throwing hand.

A hard-fought victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars brought Browning into the limelight. On December 10, the Bengals faced another AFC South team, the Indianapolis Colts, at home, where his family members were present to cheer him on from the stands of Paul Brown Stadium.

That’s where Joe Burrow comes in. He gifted Browning’s family members with his luxury suite so they could watch him lead the Bengals to a 20-point victory over the Colts.

First of all, it is not in my box. I did not buy that in the preseason; it's very expensive. Joe Burrow was nice enough to give them some tickets so they didn't have to sit up in the cold. You know, we're all from California. I'm used to it, but they're not, so I'm sure they were much more excited in the box, but it's awesome to have them here.

Jake Browning always takes advice from his father

As the saying goes, ‘The apple doesn’t fall far from a tree.’ Jake’s dad, Ed Browning, played college football from 1987 to 1991. Not only that, but he ended the ’91 season as the school’s leader in passing with 171. The older Browning introduced his son to football at an early age, and he often goes back to his father for advice.

Jake Browning said in an interview with the Washington Huskies:

He's just been someone I could go to my entire life. Even before I started playing football, he was always there for me. Whether it was a school issue or anything that came up, he had a good way to respond to it.

While Joe Burrow is the highest-paid player in the NFL, Jake Browning is one of the least-paid. The Bengals backup QB earns $750,000 a year, which is 27th in the league of active quarterbacks as per Over the Cap. He sits in the middle of the Falcons, Feleipe Franks, and former Canadian Football League and current Jaguars QB Nathan Rourke.
