Lately, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick has been receiving quite some criticism from everywhere, mainly from NFL analysts. Especially after the Saints’ quarterback Derek Carrs performance against the Jaguars on Thursday.

Saints vs Jaguars was quite an interesting game, as the Saints offense failed to dominate the game again, except for the fourth quarter which had hope for the Saints’ win or a tie-up. The team had a dreadful half-time with just 17-6 without a single touchdown pass.

Quarterback Carr was no help either, as he continued to throw incomplete passes, hoping for the receivers to cover at least some yards. However, this wasn’t unusual for the Saints as they had this pattern from the very start of this season. Except for one game, against the Patriots where they scored 34-0. The Patriots were totally blown out in that game, an epic failure for the team.

The blame ultimately fell on to the head coach Belichick, as the NFL analyst Kevin Wildes commented, “This Saints team went into Gillette and won 34-0.” Although Belichick was to be blamed for most of it, truthfully Patriots never recovered from their legendary quarterback Tom Brady‘s retirement. Even today, they haven’t been able to find anyone close to Brady.

Patriots coach Belichick is literally known for his amazing management skills. The team has always come prepared and better than most, on the field. However, this season has been quite different as in recent weeks, the Patriots lost with some of the most terrible performances by its players.

And last Sunday’s game against the Saints counts as the most embarrassing one for the Patriots at 34-0. Quarterback Mac Jones says the team wasn’t ready to go to start games, referring to a common phrase “answers to the test,” often used by Brady during his dominance in Patriots for two decades. Jones stated that the Patriots do not have answers to the test, at this current moment.

Though Jones was taking his share of the blame on the team’s behalf, he also pointed the blame to the team’s coaching staff, including Belichick. Currently, the Patriots have the worst offense in the NFL with the team’s average point of 11 per game. However, QB Jones believes there still is hope for them to get back on track, but only if they work together cohesively.
