Bills Gabriel Davis leads the list of the most underrated players in the NFL
Gabriel Davis
The biggest flaw of the NFL is that each team has a 52-man roster. I get it, the nature of the game is such, that you need an entire offensive lineup, defensive lineup, and a special teams squad to be able to play football. The reason I state that it is a flaw is that with so many players across the entire NFL and so much talent, we just tend to overlook a lot of players who have immense potential and have been consistently good.
In the league, mediocrity means you are either just a role player on a team or a backup, you have to be good to survive as a starter in the league and you have to be great for your name to be known and talked about in the media circles and amongst fans. Today we will talk about a rather underrated player from the Buffalo Bills, not Josh Allen or Stefon Diggs, but Gabriel Davis, odds are you may not be that familiar with him, and we do not blame you for that.
Gabriel Davis has the most potential amongst wide receivers across the league:
Gabe Davis is a diamond in the rough, he was picked in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. Within just two years of being in the NFL, Gabe has shown that he is someone who can be consistent on the field, just take a look at his stats, in his rookie year, he recorded 599 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns. In his second season in the league, he recorded 549 yards receiving and a total of 6 TDs.
Davis has also set a record in just two seasons of being in the league, he holds the record for having the most receiving touchdowns in a playoff game with the number standing at 4. He is extremely underrated in the sense that his work ethic, discipline, and consistency match that of the top wideouts in the league.
You can go as far as to say that he could be a pro bowl receiver in the upcoming seasons and he has Stefon Diggs, one of the best route runners in the entire NFL as his mentor. If Davis gets that route running skill of Diggs and is able to combine that with his physicality, he could arguably be a top 5 wideout in the league.
It is safe to say that Gabriel Davis will be having a breakout year this season and he is going to turn a lot of eyes towards him. He is a star in the making.
