Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills played their first game in London since 2015. They played the Jacksonville Jaguars in a back-and-forth game. However, they lost the game as the Jaguars came out all guns blazing. They led the game early and never relinquished it. The Bills had their chances but a late fumble from star wide out Stefon Diggs ended the game in Jags favor.
The Jags played their week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons in London as well. They had a extra week to prepare for their game against the Bills this week. The Buffalo-based team were at a disadvantage their as they had less time to acclimatize to a new stadium and conditions. Their QB Josh Allen, however, refused to make any excuses for his team’s poor performance when he was asked about the Jags’ extra preparation time.
“It doesn’t matter if we arrived here Thursday, Friday or Saturday – we just didn’t play well and they played better than us and that’s why they won.” Allen said after the game. He finished the game with 359 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He completed 27 of his 40 pass attempts.
The Bills will now play the New York Giants in their next game at the Bills Stadium. They will hope to bounce back next weekend in familiar conditions, just like they did against the Miami Dolphins in their week 4 matchup.
Jacksonville Jaguars troll Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs after the game
The Jacksonville Jaguars went to the Northumberland Development Project Stadium in London and humiliated the Buffalo Bills en route to a 25-20 win. After the game, the Jags Twitter account had some fun at the expense of the Bills’ star wideout Stefon Diggs and QB Josh Allen.
The Jags posted a side-by-side image of their defenseman Josh Allen and a video of Diggs venting out his frustration on the sideline. The team shared it on their Twitter with the caption, “Will the real Josh Allen pls stand up?” Diggs and Allen both had a good game but failed to lead their team to victory.
The Jags have now improved to 3-2 after their win over the Bills. They will host the Indianapolis Colts in their next game on October 15 and will look to build on this win. The Bills on the other hand will try to regroup and bounce back against the New York Giants in their next game.
