Aaron Rodgers completed his move to the New York Jets after months of speculation. The back-to-back MVP winner was unsettled in Green Bay for quite a long time.

Rodgers decided to have a change in scenery and have a new arena to conquer. The 39-year-old was part of one of the most expensive trades of all time. The Jets parted ways with three drafts and a conditional 4th one in return for Rodgers.

Fortunately, until now it seems to have paid off as Rodgers looks more happy than he ever was in Green Bay. This was noticed by his former Packers teammate and current Jets OT Billy Turner.

Turner played with Rodgers for 3 years in Green Bay before moving to the Jets. Now the duo has been reunited as Turner believes Rodgers can’t be happier. Apart from that, his outlook and dedication to the game have also improved among many other things.

“The dude just shows up to work and he’s just so fucking happy right now,” Billy Turner said on the Mad Dog radio show. “It’s very cool to witness and see because it doesn’t matter how long you’re in this profession, it’s the type of profession where regardless of how long you spend in it, you can always experience something new. And he’s experiencing something new for the first time in his career, and it’s cool to be part of and watch.”

Aaron Rodgers’s last season with the Packers was completely devastating. The legendary QB gave one of his worst performances of all time and was one of the worst QBs in the NFL at one point in time.

Billy Turner believes it to be the frustration that Rodgers had with the Packers due to various unspoken issues. There was also speculation that Rodgers has gotten old and it’s time to give Jordan Love a chance. These discussions hindered the form of the talented QB who has a lot left in the tank.

“I don’t think the Green Bay Packers realized and understood what he had left in the tank,” Turner said. “He has everything left in the tank.” With Billy speaking heaps of praises of Aaron Rodgers, it will be interesting to see how their partnership forms out when the regular season starts.
