Miami Dolphins player Braxton Berrios was recently clicked with TikTok sensation Alix Earle. The two Miami University graduates were seen hanging out together on the outdoor patio of celeb hotspot Sadelle’s in Miami. One eagle-eyed fan quickly took out their phone and recorded the two chatting with the waitress.
Berrios, 27, who joined the Dolphins on a one-year deal in April 2023, recently broke up with Sophia Culpo. She is the sister of the former Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo. You may recognize both of them from their TLC show, “The Culpo Sisters.” Braxton and Sophia became the talk of the town when he ‘photobombed’ her bikini photoshoot.
22-year-old Alix Earle rose to fame through TikTok. She has around 5 million followers, and after the recent sighting with Berrios, that might increase.
The Miami native, after returning from an eventful all-girls trip to Europe, posted a video on her channel preparing for date night. In the video, you see Alix deciding what to wear after searching through several dresses and shoes. After completing a few final touch-ups, she asked her audience to “wish her luck” for the date.
It can be speculated that she was dressing herself up to meet with Berrios. Her alleged new hookup comes after she called it quits with Yankees player Tyler Wade last year. Apparently, Alexis and Braxton got to know each other when the former Jets player moved to South Florida.
However, according to Page Six, the two camps have yet to spill the beans about their relationship. But some of her fans were caught out by this new development and even advised Alix that she could do better than the journeyman Braxton Berrios.
Braxton needs to focus on improving his game
Calling Braxton Berrios a journeyman early in his career is a bit unfair. However, the Super Bowl LIII champion has hopped around from one franchise to the next for regular gameplay.
The New England Patriots drafted Berrios with the 210th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He was placed on the injured reserve list. After not making much impact, the Patriots waived him goodbye, and he landed in the New York Jets camp on September 1, 2019. However, he was only limited to special teams players.
The best season of his career by far came in 2021 when he averaged 7.2 PPR points per game. Many thought Berrios would now contribute steadily to the Jets squad. But his output fell dramatically in 2022, averaging 3.5 PPR points per game.
The Jets then let Berrios go, and he signed with the Dolphins, who decided to give him the No. 0.
Berrios has to prove himself to the coaching staff that he is worthy of the jersey number and the Dolphins did not make a mistake signing him.
