The San Francisco 49ers have had a stellar time on the field this year. As a testament to that, nine players from the squad have made it to the Pro Bowl squad. Quarterback Brock Purdy has led the members with his name at the front.
After getting selected for the second time in a row in the Pro Bowl, Purdy has remained humble. He credited his teammates as well as others who have voted the quarterback for the MVP Award.

Brock Purdy told the reporters:
What an honor. Very thankful, obviously, to everyone who voted and all the support across the country. It's so cool, actually. And for all my teammates, too, for them to be recognized, it's sweet. We got a special team, special unit of guys, but to be listed up there with them, what an honor. So, yeah, very thankful for it.Brock Purdy said
Nearly 15 players have been voted for their positions in the Pro Bowl and Purdy has led the tally with 4,51,864 votes. His performance has earned him the position. He added:
Yeah, I heard about that. It's crazy," don't know really what to say to that. It's cool. Sort of just, this last year, how crazy it's been. And then to sort of see that and the support from everybody watching, just all of it, the whole story, and the last year, it's been a blessing.Brock Purdy added
This season, Purdy has been one of the frontrunners for the MVP award as well. The quarterback has registered 31 TDs against 11 interceptions for 4,280 yards. He has also ‘finished’ the season with a 113.0% passing completion rate.
Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey have remained humble
Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey are the frontrunners for the MVP award from the San Francisco 49ers. Both have contributed significantly to the success of the team. McCaffrey has registered 14 touchdowns for more than 1,400 yards. His running game has been well-appreciated.

However, both Purdy and McCaffrey have remained humble over the choice for the MVP award. When asked, McCaffrey gave all his flowers to his teammates, especially Purdy. Purdy also did the same while discussing the MVP question. He said that it was McCaffrey who ran the show.
Nonetheless, the MVP question remains uncertain as both of them have been well challenged by the likes of several others.
