Looks like not all fishes are bad in the Denver Broncos this season. With the team’s bizarre performance this season, there was a very minute hope that they’d win any title this season of the NFL. Especially after Russell Wilson‘s abysmal performance for the third season in his 12 years of NFL career.
However, Broncos cheerleader Berkleigh Wright earned her franchise pride as she was named among the seven Swim Search finalists this year by the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. She will be a rookie in the SI Swim 2024 edition.
This truly is a proud moment for Wright and the Broncos, as it would give her an advanced platform to mentor and inspire the next generation.

Wright comes from a quite versatile background, as she works as a technical account manager and analyst during the daytime, and by night, she works for the Broncos as a cheerleader. She also contributes many hours of her life to various organizations, such as Children’s Hospital and Colorado, Habitat for Humanity, and the Boys and Girls Club of Denver.
Although Wright scored a proud, yet rare win for the Broncos, their NFL team has been absolutely abysmal on the field. Wrapping up Week 6 at 1-5, the Broncos’ position in the NFL doesn’t look very good, especially when they are aiming for a playoff appearance.
The Broncos are falling apart with no solid offense and defense
After last year’s disastrous performance in the league, the Broncos entered this season to do the opposite of what they did last year. However, in just five games, the Broncos fell even below last year’s record.
This season, the Broncos have the worst defense, despite bringing in a defensive coordinator Vance Joseph to replace Ejiro Evero. The team ranks 27th in Pressure Rate and has had a major impact on their overall pass coverage.
Coming to the Broncos’ offense, quarterback Russell Wilson ought to be the backbone of the team. But the 35-year-old hasn’t been able to pull the team. During the game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the quarterback threw just one touchdown, two interceptions, and 95 yards, plus sacked four times.
Although when the team won against the Chicago Bears, it felt like a comeback win, unfortunately; they recorded having the worst second-half teams this season. It has truly been a tragic season for the Broncos, with no hope of turning the season around in their favor.
