Buffalo Bills’ $258 Million worth QB Josh Allen drops truth bomb on his MVP chances

Josh Allen
We are just two weeks away from the 2022 NFL season, and fans have already begun to pick their choices for the MVP this upcoming season, so far, the Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen leads the race with the most odds. The team had a stellar season last year, we saw one of the most challenging playoff games when the Bills faced the Kansas City Chiefs, the game had to go into overtime and due to the OT regulations and Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs won the game.
However, all that loss did was fuel Josh Allen‘s fire more, this season he is looking to come back better than ever. Despite proving that he is an all-around well-balanced quarterback last season, Josh Allen has improved this season, there are some things that the QB has personally worked on to make sure he can elevate his game. Josh Allen is as versatile as they come, he can run the ball, jump over defensive backs, and of course, throw a sweet dagger to his wideouts.
“Owning the game of football as much as I can”: Josh Allen reveals his personal goals for the upcoming season.

Josh Allen recently spoke to Adam Schein of SiriusXM, he spoke about the developments he has made to his game this offseason and how he believes it will impact his game on the field. Here’s what Allen had to say, “I think ball placement on some of our shorter throws allowing our guys to catch and run, and then secondly, eyes, where are my eyes in zone coverage, where am I trying to throw? Am I trying to throw the high-low? Let’s find the linebacker that’s responsible for this area and let’s work him instead of having my eyes in a different spot whether it’s a safety or corner, finding the right guys to ID, and just owning the game of football as much as I can, knowing the situation.”
Allen is working on figuring out defenses and working around them, he is looking to trick them into believing the ball will end up in a certain receiver’s hands but in reality, it will be meant for someone else. Owning the game seems to be a priority for him and as it should be. He also had some high praise for his Head Coach Sean McDermott.
“Coach McDermott does a great job in the locker room and team meetings, teaching us situational football, I got to be honed in on that. I have to get a hand on whatever he is calling, why is he calling this, and how can I convey that to the guys on the field and be able to execute,” Allen concludes.
We cannot wait to see Josh Allen in action this season! The quarterback has been put in the perfect situation and is also locked up long-term. On the offensive end, he has a lot of good weapons on whom he can rely, the defensive side the Bills have made a valuable addition to Von Miller who brings a lot of experience and leadership in the locker room.
