All eyes are set on the Buffalo Bills this offseason. They are the Super Bowl favorites for the 2022 season given how explosive each player on the team is. Gabriel Davis impressed everybody in the league last season with his performance. Stefon Diggs is one of the best wideouts in the league and his continued contribution has made him the centerpiece of the Bills’ offseason.

But Isaiah McKenzie has generated quite the buzz in training camp. With the exit of Cole Beasly, this offseason and Jamison Crowder missing the majority of training camp, McKenzie has taken complete advantage of the No. 3 receiver role.

Isaiah McKenzie was selected in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos. He was then claimed off waivers by the Buffalo Bills in 2018 and has been the return specialist and wide receiver ever since. In Week 16 last year against New England McKenzie netted 11 catches, 125 yards, and a touchdown. For the rest of the season, he produced just 53 yards on nine catches.

“I feel like now everybody’s seeing it and I’m just getting more opportunities after those plays,” McKenzie said, via the team’s official website. “And I feel like I got to keep doing that and be consistent. But at the same time, you know, it’s more noticeable now that I’m in the slot position. I’ve got to go out there and play my best football and put my best foot forward. I still got to continue to stack days and that’s what I feel like I’m doing. I just got to keep being consistent and just come out here every day and make plays.”

Everyone is mighty impressed with Isaiah McKenzie this offseason. Even quarterback Josh Allen appreciated McKenzie’s hardowrk. “He’s a little muscle hamster,” Allen said of McKenzie. While Crowder is set to make a return to training camp this week, McKenzie needs to bust his butt off and impress his coaches to let him start in the season opener in L.A.
