The Bills-Browns matchup has officially been moved to Detroit's Ford Field Stadium.
The Buffalo Bills have played wild all year, however, the weather in the city appears to be much wilder than the home team. A snowstorm has taken over the city of Buffalo and, as a result, the team will be moving to Cleveland to face the Browns this Sunday. The NFL announced on Thursday.
The league moved the game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Browns, which was originally scheduled to be played in Buffalo to Detroit’s Ford Field owing to safety concerns, with record levels of snowfall set to come down on the Western part of New York.
The game was originally bound to kick off at 1 PM Sunday at the Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. This is not the first time that a Bills game has had to be moved owing to bad weather. In 2014, the Bills played the New York Jets; the game had to be shifted to Detroit owing to concerns about heavy snow levels.
The Bills are set to play the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving on Thursday just four days after the Sunday night matchup with the Browns. As a result, the SNF game could not be played on Monday. Ford Field will be a busy venue come Sunday as it will host two games, the first being the matchup between the Lions and the Giants at 1 PM while the second being the Bills against the Browns.

Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial and Washington’s FedEx Field were also two potential sites to move the game. Orchard Park, the home stadium of the Bills, received a warning for extreme snowfall. The warning states anywhere from 2 to 4 feet of snowfall.
