WATCH: “Why isn’t he watching film?” – Caleb Williams gets unnecessarily trolled on social media for playing golf at ‘Top Golf’ a few days before the all-important NFL Draft
Williams has been preparing for the NFL Draft, which is scheduled to take place on the 24th of April.

Caleb Williams has not made it into the NFL yet but receives more criticism from fans than a star athlete in the NFL does.
The soon-to-be Chicago Bear has shown that he is unconventional in every sense. Be it having a bizarre fashion sense or preferences. As the NFL Draft nears, Williams is taking a step back and having a lot of fun doing it.
Recently, he spent his evening playing Top Golf, and while doing it, the quarterback for USC went live on his Instagram page. Caleb Williams showed fans some of his golf strokes and is headed on the same path as star quarterbacks in the league who took to playing golf once they made it to the NFL.
The quarterback is good at it too; he scored a hole-in-one and did not shy away from celebrating his feat.
Caleb Williams is just two weeks away from becoming the franchise quarterback for an NFL team. While the Chicago Bears have not drafted him yet, the team has begun to offer him treatment on par with a star player for the team, as the stakes are sky-high with him. The draft, at this juncture, is a mere formality to acknowledge the same.
Caleb Williams is enjoying dinners with celebrities at the expense of the Chicago Bears
The team has been organizing dinners for their quarterback, and Williams has managed to dine with the likes of Jamie Foxx and Quavo as well.
Despite his talent, the quarterback attracts a lot of criticism, undeservedly so from fans who allege that he is overrated and a system quarterback. The most recent instance of this was when Williams went viral for having painted nails and having an unorthodox shade of cover on his phone.
Sharing a wide spectrum of reactions online, here’s how fans reacted to Caleb Williams playing Top Golf:

It becomes easy to overlook the fact that athletes are humans too, at the end of the day. It is unrealistic to expect Williams to just shut up and play football.
He is not yet in the NFL; the run-up to the draft is a time for players to just sit back and relax. Caleb Williams’ social media feed is a prime instance of the hate that players receive at times for absolutely no justifiable cause. While it is unfortunate to see, it happens to be the price associated with fame.
