CeeDee Lamb, the wide receiver of the Dallas Cowboys, has a perfect response to Richard Sherman after the latter lashed out at him. The WR had a poor game against the San Francisco 49ers and Sherman did not leave a chance to criticize him vehemently. The former player and the present-day analyst called him overrated and accused him of not belonging to the tier-one level of the WRs.

In this case, CeeDee Lamb had to provide him with an answer, and he provided one. The player took the issue to Twitter (now known as X) and wrote a three-word-small counter, “Lol.” It is largely speculated that it is meant for Sherman.

There is hardly any doubt that Lamb performed poorly in the game vs. the 49ers. He failed to create a threat. However, that does not make him overrated.

In five games, the WR has registered 27 receives of 358 yards. He had one touchdown and 12 long gains. His best performance came against the New York Jets where he had 11 receives for 143 yards. Understandably, a player who is this pivotal in ensuring success will be angry with Sherman for passing on remarks like that. He stepped up and said what he had to say. 

The game against the 49ers went so bad for the WR that he did not hide his anger after the game. The player said that he needed more opportunities as a receiver to ensure the best outcome. His frustration was indicating that he was not happy with how his team played.

Jerry Jones, the veteran manager and owner of the Cowboys, was asked about Lamb’s situation. The Dallas manager said that he is not aware of things as he spotted a few balls in the WR area. After Jones’ comments the netizens are speculating that this might be the end of the WR at Cowboys.

What did Richard Sherman say about CeeDee Lamb? 

In one the latest episode of ‘Undisputed,’ Sherman said that CeeDee Lamb is overrated, and no longer comes in the upper tier of WRs. He compared Lamb with a bunch of other WRs and said that he is not at the same level as them.

“You think he’s a bona fide [No. 1 wide receiver], then yeah, that’s overrated,” Sherman said. “Then you’re saying that he’s in a conversation with Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, Ja’Marr Chase, Stefon Diggs, A.J. Brown, Cooper Kupp, Deebo Samuel, Terry McLaurin, and Mike Evans. You’re saying that he’s in that conversation?”

CeeDee Lamb and his Cowboys teammates will look forward to snub these claims by Sherman in the coming matchups.
